Hi there, I’m Mia!

A woman with long brown hair, smiling, wearing a green sweater, standing outdoors with a city skyline in the background during sunset.

(She/Her)

You can definitely learn about my education, therapeutic approach, etc. on this website.

And

I also think it’s important to share a bit about me personally!

I am…

  • a queer, white, cis-woman. I'm also a first-generation, low-income (FGLI) college graduate. These aspects of my identity (and more) shape my privilege, experiences, and perspective.

  • from North Carolina - born, bred, and fed. I love the diverse peoples of my home state, and carry their spirit of community care, mutual aid, resistance, and resilience in the face of hardship with me everywhere I go.

  • married and a parent to two sweet, adorable cats (I will happily show cat pics upon request)!

  • also in therapy - therapists absolutely benefit from their own therapy. We don’t have to hold it all alone y’all!
